Sam Cancienne

Sam Cancienne joined Statesman in 2022, and serves as an Investment Banking Analyst at Statesman Corporate Finance. In his role, Sam assists in all phases of a transaction including market/industry research, building marketing materials, financial analysis, marketing, and due diligence. Prior to Statesman, Sam worked as a credit analyst at Frost Bank. In this role, Sam prepared extensive credit packages and financial, collateral, historical, pro-forma, market and sensitivity analysis information to assess the financial condition of new and/or existing customers. Sam had an exposure to a variety of industries such as engineering firms, law firms, industrial manufacturing, construction, private equity firms, energy services, marine, and real estate.
Sam graduated from Louisiana State University receiving a B.B.A. in Finance. In his spare time, Sam enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends and family, LSU and Saints Football, basketball, tennis, reading, and finding new spots around Houston to bike.
He holds the Investment Banking Representative (Series 79), Uniform Securities State Law (Series 63), and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) licenses from FINRA and the SEC.
