Barry Kelly

Barry Kelly is Statesman’s Senior Advisor of Mergers & Acquisitions. Barry assists clients in effecting mergers, acquisitions, capital sourcing, restructuring, and with general corporate advisory matters. Barry began his banking career completing the Commercial Officer Development Program at Texas Commerce Bank. He has been a Commercial/Corporate banker in Houston since 1983. Most recently, Barry spent the past 12 years as Executive Vice President and Manager of Texas Commercial Banking at Cadence Bank. He served on the Board of Directors at YES Prep public schools for 18 years and remains a member of the Finance Committee.

Barry also serves on the Advisory Boards of Carespring and Cadence Bank. Barry graduated from Mississippi State University in 1983 with a BA in Business Administration and Accounting. He is married with three children and four grandchildren.

He holds the Investment Banking Representative (Series 79), Uniform Securities Agent (Series 63), and General Securities Principal (Series 24) licenses from FINRA and the SEC.
