Mark Vance

Mark Vance joined Statesman in 2018 as a Director and has over 30 years of experience where he served as public and private CFO with four successful exits, three of which were in software and technology before entering investment banking.

Mr. Vance leads new business development for Statesman and has a passion for working with founder owned businesses to share and leverage his public and private company experience. Mr. Vance’s career experience includes the Williams Companies prior to founding four private companies including Telscape International. He also has served public and private energy firms including the Cullen family’s oil & gas operations. Mark has held multiple executive management positions including CEO, CFO, and COO and has strong experience in mergers and acquisitions, raising capital through private offerings, and is accomplished in organizational restructurings, financial and strategic planning, and operational improvements.

He holds an undergraduate degree from LSU in finance and a MBA from the University of Houston.

He holds the Investment Banking Representative (Series 79), Uniform Securities Agent (Series 63), and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) licenses from FINRA and the SEC.
